Date Sold 10/18/2020 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 3 magazine sections from Sunday News, the weekly Sunday supplement to the New York Daily News, the long running daily tabloid newspaper that has been in print since 1919 ("New York's Picture Newspaper"). Published in New York City, the newspaper has received 19 Pulitzer Prizes for its news coverage! It was inserted into many Sunday newspapers during the 1940s and 1950s (it was a way for those newspapers to provide a free magazine to their readers, at no cost to them, because the advertisers paid for it). Note that the items in this lot are from 1938 to 1945. We do not provide a list of these items, but there are images of all of them. Measurements: each measures approximately 11 1/2" x 15 1/2"Note that we have provided a picture of the front cover of each magazine, but no other images.
