Kull silent Africa travel action adventure thriller serial (from the story by George H. Plympton; about a young lady reporter who helps a newspaperman in his search throughout Africa for the famous Dr. Livingstone) starring George Walsh, Louise Lorraine, Charles Mason, William Welsh, and Gordon Sackville. Note that George Walsh was a major silent star (and brother of director Raoul Walsh). Click on his name to learn about his fascinating career, and why you likely have never heard of him! Also, note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this wonderful slide advertised a special promotion where you could get to see the next chapter of this serial free, but only if you can in with a special button that had a wildebeest on it (they don't say where you got the button from)! Also note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: very good.
