eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result 8h033 LOT OF 10 LOCAL THEATER WINDOW CARDS 1940s great images from a variety of movies! Date Sold 8/5/2018Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 10 local theater window cards. Note that posters like these were printed on a thin paper and were sold to theaters in the 1940s. These heralds are similar to those that were made by the Victor Cornelius company in the 1940s. We imagine that the people who made these likely also sold a partly metal frame with a metal easel backing that held these posters (we have seen such a frame from the Victor Cornelius company, but their 11" x 14" "window cards" like these were on a slightly thicker paper). Most of these 11x14 local theater window cards we have seen either advertise B-western movies or other B-movies (usually the movies advertised included both 1930s and 1940s titles, but we think they were all being shown in the 1940s). We do not provide a list of these items, but there are images of all of them (there are multiple examples of the two titles included; see our images). Measurements: each measures approximately 9 1/2" x 13 1/2"Condition: fair to good. Learn More about condition grades Titles included:
