Terror seizes city!"; "All New Thrills! Shock! Suspense!"; "Monster Escapes!"; "City flees in Terror!"; "Here at last! New thrill wonder 3-D Horrorscope!") starring John Agar, Lori Nelson, John Bromfield, Nester Paiva, Ricou Browning (who played the Gill Man underwater), Tom Hennesy (who played the Gill Man on land), Clint Eastwood (in his big screen [speaking] debut in a bit part as a lab assistant), Brett Halsey, and Flippy the Porpoise. Note that this movie was released in 3-D, but most first release U.S. posters don't bother to mention that (perhaps because the 3-D craze was dying down). Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been personally autographed (signed) by Lori Nelson (our consignor purchased it from a reputable seller and we feel certain the autograph is genuine)! This is a military one-sheet. Military one-sheets were printed at the same time as the regular U.S. one-sheets when the movie was first released. They were made to be used on U.S. military installations. Sometimes the poster has small writing at the bottom that says "For Distribution and Use at U.S. Military Establishments Only", and sometimes they just have "Litho in U.S.A." or "Printed in U.S.A." in small letters in the lower right (most often, the ones that were used in the 1950s in the Korean War have "Litho in U.S.A.", and the ones that were used in the 1960s in the Vietnam War have "Printed in U.S.A.). This is one of the posters that says "Printed in U.S.A.". Condition: good to very good. The poster has tiny paper loss at the top crossfold and 1 1/2" of separation at the top and bottom of the vertical foldline. There are three tiny bits of paper loss in the white background between the words "TERROR" and "SEIZES". There is a 1 1/2" tear in the right of the top border and marker writing on the back of the top center that bleeds through to the front in the background above the "M" of "MONSTER".
