An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Pressbook (pb; measures 11" x 17" [28 x 43 cm]; 4 pages) (Learn More) Punk Rock, the 1977 Carter Stevens music sexploitation movie ("She was the teenage runaway, kidnapped by sex slavers...he was the private eye who had to find her...in the sinister world of hard drugs, cold blooded murder and...Punk Rock") starring Wade Nichols, Robert Kerman (billed as "Richard Bolla"), Jean Sanders (billed as "Jeanie Sauders"), Nancy Dare, Paula Morton, and Elda and the Stillettos (billed as "Elda and Stiletto"). Note that this 1977 film was originally X-rated but to reach a wider market, a new R-rated version was created by removing the "hard core" footage and filming new scenes with existing and new actors plus multiple new bands. Confusingly, this new version was released in 1979 under the title Punk Rock and in some areas as Rock Fever Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a one-sheet (18 years ago!) from this movie (and NO other movie paper of any kind) until we received this pressbook! Note that we have provided an image of the front and back covers of this pressbook (if the back cover is not the poster page, we photographed the interior poster page), and of course, the winner of this auction will receive the entire single pressbook we are auctioning (plus any supplements or heralds described above)! Also note that this pressbook is complete and uncut! Given that theater owners received pressbooks partly in order to create their newspaper advertising, and quite frequently cut them up for that purpose, it is rare to find a pressbook that IS complete and uncut!
