An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Background to Danger, the 1943 Raoul Walsh World War II (WWII) spy espionage crime thriller ("From a novel by Eric Ambler"; note that IMDB lists William Faulkner as an uncredited writer for this movie; about an American intelligence agent in Turkey during World War II, and his interactions with Nazi agents; made just after "Casablanca", and obviously designed to ride on that movie's coattails!) starring George Raft, Sydney Greenstreet, Peter Lorre, Brenda Marshall, Osa Massen, Turhan Bey, Kurt Katch, Otto Reichow, William Yetter Sr., and Wilhelm von Brincken NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. The poster had creases, scuffs, and tiny dots of paper loss on most of the vertical foldline and on the left half of the middle foldline, and fine surface paper loss on the other foldlines. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
