An Autographed 4" x 6" [10 x 15 cm] Publicity Still (Learn More) Lily Tomlin is an actress and comedienne from the 1960s to the present. She first rose to stardom in TV's "Laugh-In" (her most memorable character was Ernestine the telephone operator). Some of her movies include: Nine to Five, I Heart Huckabees, Nashville (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), The Incredible Shrinking Woman, and she continues to appear in both movies and on television, currently on "Grace and Frankie" (in the title role as Frankie) with Jane Fonda. As of 2021, she is still alive at the age of 81! Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Lily Tomlin! Also note that this still measures 4" x 6" [10 x 15 cm]. Finally, note that many celebrities kept multiple 8" x 10" (or smaller) copies of good publicity images of themselves to sign for fans, and also many memorabilia shops sold such copy stills themselves. While they are not original theater-used stills, they are usually excellent clear copies, with a great shot of that celebrity in their heyday, which, when signed by the celebrity, makes for a wonderful framed picture on any fan's wall! Finally note this auction includes the original envelope the still was delivered in from "Tomlin and Wagner Threatericalz". Note that our consignor was a major collector of autographs (mostly on stills, both vintage and repro), and he would go to events or conventions where stars would appear in person and that is how he acquired the signatures on this item. We feel it is quite likely that the autograph on this item is authentic (and it was likely acquired in person), but we do not have a certificate of authenticity. Condition: very good to fine.
