An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Campaign Book (measures 9 1/2" x 12 1/2" [24 x 32 cm]; 12 pages) (Learn More) Paramount 1934-35/1935-36, the very unusual mid-year 1935 studio campaign book ("The acknowledged leader in 1934-35 will be Paramount in 1935-36 as the following pages show..."). This 12-page book was published after the 1934-35 campaign book, but before the 1935-36 campaign book. Apparently, Paramount was so proud of their stars and movies those three years, that they published this additional thin book to celebrate that fact! It features images and information on Paramount's then-current stars including: Gary Cooper, Bing Crosby, Claudette Colbert, Marlene Dietrich, Carole Lombard, George Raft, W.C. Fields, Mae West, and many others (with small portraits of those stars, four to a page). There are only text listings of their films from those three years. This is a very rare publication, but remember that it has only 12 pages! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have never auctioned this mid-year 12-page campaign before! Condition: good to very good.
