An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded French One-Panel "Grande" Movie Poster (1p; measures 45 1/4" x 62 3/4" [115 x 159 cm]) (Learn More) Le Fugitif (literally translates to "The Fugitive"), the 1947 Robert Bibal French Canada romantic love triangle escape crime melodrama (about a criminal in Canada who escapes and takes refuge at the home of his former lover, who is now married, and her husband thinks the fugitive is her brother and she allows him to think that; meanwhile, there is also a bad girl who loves the fugitive and wants him to go off with her, but first he wants to settle a score with the man who caused him to go to prison, but the detective hunting him poses a problem) starring Rene Dary, Jean Debucourt, Madeleine Robinson, Albert Dinan (billed as "Dinan"), Georges Lannes, Pierre Dudan, Philippe Hersent, Arlette Merry, and Alfred Adam. Note that while the characters say that this movie takes place in Canada, there is really next to nothing to reinforce that, because it was a low budget movie and almost all of the scenes take place indoors!
