This circus poster has no writing on it (or we can't read it or the translation does not help) and we do not know more about the performers and/or attractions, so we have listed it as "Unknown Circus Poster". If anyone knows more, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Important Added Info: Note that this might be a "stock" poster, where circuses would attach a snipe to the top or bottom, with the name of the circus and play dates on it (this save a lot of money over printing a new color poster) Another possibility is that the poster had printed information that was part of the poster and was trimmed from the top. We can't say which is true, so please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept this possibility and if anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Note that this poster must be sent in a tube that is over 32" long (which is why it is in this set of auctions). You can tell how long the tube will need to be by adding 2 inches to the shorter dimension of the length or width (so 40x60s need to be sent in a 42 inch long tube, etc). Most of these posters (with the notable exception of paper banners) CAN be combined in the same tube together, with a few exceptions. Bear in mind that a very long tube (42 inches or longer) will cost a lot more to send than a 30" tube, so bear that in mind before bidding on this poster.

Condition: good to very good. The poster has a tear at upper left (see our image). It otherwise has just some fold and border wear and is in pretty nice condition.
