The Frisco Kid, the 1935 Lloyd Bacon San Francisco California waterfront gambling casino romantic crime thriller ("With a blast of dynamite... he rocks the bloody cradle of modern gangdom!"; about a tough sailor who is shanghaied to San Francisco's notorious Barbary Coast, and he rises to where he runs a major casino, but he is unable to win the woman of his dreams) starring James Cagney, Margaret Lindsay, Ricardo Cortez, Lili Damita, Donald Woods, Barton MacLane, George E. Stone, Addison Richards, Joe Sawyer, and Fred Kohler
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: This herald was folded in half at one time as was originally intended. Note that this herald was used in a theater in India, and has been overprinted with Indian writing on the back, but that the rest of the herald is in English. The Indian writing was added after the herald was first printed. In the 1930s, American movies were sent all over the world and countries would overprint the backs of heralds with writing in their own language that told where and when the movie would be shown.

Condition: very good. printing on one side of the herald bleeds through slightly to the other side; some minor creases, smudges, and scuffs throughout the herald (more so around the edges)
