An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC; measures 10 1/2" x 13 1/2") (Learn More) The View From Pompey's Head, the 1955 Philip Dunne interracial passing-for-white romantic melodrama ("'Do you think I go walking on the beach for exercise?'"; "Accidentally she stumbled on the truth - her husband was a Negro!"; "'You're my wife - nobody's got a better right to you!'"; "From the Novel by Hamilton Basso"; "Produced Directed and Written for the screen by Philip Dunne") starring Richard Egan, Dana Wynter, Cameron Mitchell, Sidney Blackmer, Majorie Rambeau, Dorothy Patrick (billed as "Dorothy Patrick Davis"), Rosemarie Bowe, Jerry Paris, Ruby Goodwin, and DeForest Kelley NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this title lobby card has been trimmed and it now measures 10 1/2" x 13 1/2". Also note the tagline in the lower left triangular-shaped inset box that reads "Accidentally she stumbled on the truth - her husband was a Negro!". Apparently, this was NOT something that many theaters that used this card wanted to advertise, so many theaters taped and glued a piece of a brown paper bag over that tagline! This particular title card was NOT censored in that way, which difficult to find! Condition: good. The card was slightly trimmed on all four sides. There is a tape repair on the back of the left of the bottom border. Learn More about condition grades
