An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Slightly Scarlet, the 1930 Louis J. Gasnier & Edwin H. Knopf jewel thieves French Riviera romantic crime comedy starring Evelyn Brent, Clive Brook, Paul Lukas, Eugene Pallette and Helen Ware. This was the English version of this movie made by Paramount in 1930. Universal did the same thing with "Dracula" in 1931. They filmed the movie twice, once in English, and once in Spanish, with two entirely different casts, U.S. actors for the English version and mostly Latin actors for the Spanish version, obviously for release in Spanish speaking countries, and the same was done with this movie, except it was released in English, Spanish, and French (the Spanish language version, "Amor audaz", starred Adolphe Menjou and Rosita Moreno, and the French version, "L'enigmatique Monsieur Parkes", starred Adolphe Menjou and Claudette Colbert).
