To be the mistress... And the bride of a gorilla!"; "PRIMITIVE! PASSIONATE! Nothing like it ever before!"; "SHOCKING! A blonde beauty and a savage beast... ALONE in the JUNGLE!"; "Primitive! Passionate! Savage scenes never before unfolded!"; "A monster and a girl alone in a savage jungle!"; "Her clothes torn away screaming in terror"; "Her marriage vows were more than fulfilled!") starring Barbara Payton, Lon Chaney Jr. (billed as "Lon Chaney"), Raymond Burr, Tom Conway, Gisela Werbisek, Paul Cavanagh, Carol Varga, and Steve Calvert (in an uncredited title role as the gorilla). Note that in 1948, Steve Calvert bought Ray 'Crash' Corrigan's gorilla costume, which Corrigan had been using in movies since at least 1932. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had minor wear on the folds. It had smudges and a few pinholes and tears around the edges, with an NSS number on the back of the top right corner that somewhat bled through to the front . Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
