For a Man!"), the 1957 Frank Tashlin advertising romantic comedy ("Broadway's howling success is on the screen!"; "Based on the Play written by George Axelrod and produced on the Stage by Jule Styne"; "Screen story and screen play by Frank Tashlin") starring Jayne Mansfield, Tony Randall (in the title role as Rockwell P. Hunter), Betsy Drake, Joan Blondell, John Williams, Henry Jones, Mickey Hargitay, Lili Gentle, Mickey Hargitay, Barbara Eden (in an uncredited role), and Groucho Marx (in an uncredited role) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair. The poster had creases and some separation on parts of the folds, and some small tears and tiny paper loss around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. Unfortunately, poster was backed by a less talented restorer, and there are now ripples scattered throughout the poster, and the poster is "lifting" from the linen in the center of the middle horizontal fold. The restorer did no real restoration. Finally, the poster was roughly handled, and there are many creases in the right excess linen, but they do not really enter the poster.
