An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) Great Guns, the 1941 Monty Banks military screwball comedy ("They're the target in target practice! They're the revel in reveille!..... and they're the pain in the Sergeant's neck!") starring Stan Laurel, Oliver Hardy (Laurel and Hardy), Sheila Ryan, Dick Nelson, Edmund MacDonald, Paul Harvey, Russell Hicks, Charles Arnt, and Alan Ladd (in an uncredited role). Note that this movie was released in October 1941, when the U.S. was on the verge of entering World War II (and since it was expected by many, it made sense for studios to make war movies at this time). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: very good. The back of the card was used to advertise another movie, and someone painted writing on the back of most of the card, but it does not affect the front (and is likely removable). There are smudges around the edges of the card and in the sky background area. There is a pair of staple holes in the middle of the left and right borders. Other than the above, the card is in pretty nice condition! Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored, with no tape anywhere on the front or back of the card.
