Date Sold 8/17/2017Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Green Light, the 1937 Frank Borzage romantic medical doctor hospital melodrama ("The story that changed the lives of a million lovers!"; based on the novel by Lloyd C. Douglas; about a young doctor who takes the fall for the mistake of an elder doctor) starring Errol Flynn, Anita Louise, Margaret Lindsay, Sir Cedric Hardwicke, Walter Abel, and Henry O'Neill. Note that Warner Bros. was afraid of the subject matter of this movie, and given that Flynn was a great lover, they "sold" the movie with advertising that showed Flynn between pretty Anita Louise and pretty Margaret Lindsay, with the tagline "The story that changed the lives of a million lovers!", trying to make audiences think they were going to see a movie based on a romantic love triangle! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good. The card has darkened, typical of Warner Bros. linen lobby cards of this period. There are paper remnants glued to the upper and lower left of the image, with tiny holes in the borders near those areas. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! Learn More about condition grades
