An Original Vintage Theatrical Chapter #13 (The Fire Trap) Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Dick Tracy, the 1937 Alan James & Ray Taylor detective mystery crime action serial ("A Republic Serial"; "Ace G-man... Waging a One-Man war on crime!"; "15 action episodes"; "Based on cartoon strip by Chester Gould"; "Original Story by Morgan Cox and George Morgan") starring Ralph Byrd (in the title role as Dick Tracy), Kay Hughes, Smiley Burnette, Lee Van Atta (as Junior), Francis X. Bushman (as Chief Clive Anderson), and John Picorri (as Moloch). Note that this was the very first Dick Tracy movie! It is surprising that it took six years for it to reach the screen, but once it did, it proved very popular and was followed by three more serials over the next four years, and then after a four year break, the first Dick Tracy feature film was released, which again proved extremely popular, and there were three sequels to that. There were animated cartoons on TV in the 1950s and in 1990, Warren Beatty made a live action movie! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good. The card has pinholes and stains around the edges. It appears that someone pressed and flattened the card, but did no other restoration. Learn More about condition grades
