An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 14" x 14 1/2" [36 x 37 cm]) (Learn More)

Dishonored (also released as "X-27"), the 1931 Josef von Sternberg World War I (WWI) spy espionage romantic melodrama (about a notorious Viennese prostitute who helps her government during World War I by working as a spy by seducing enemy officers, but when she falls in love with a Russian spy, she lets him go, and in return, she is sentenced to be shot by a firing squad) starring Victor McLaglen, Marlene Dietrich (as Agent X-27), Gustav von Seyffertitz, Warner Oland, Lew Cody, and Barry Norton

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this is a homemade local theater window card unlike one we have ever seen before. Some theater hired someone to create this window card by trimming a lobby card to just the title image and studio credit, and then hand lettering Dietrich's name in the top left and adding a snipe with the word "PARAMOUNT" underneath the lobby card. They likely added the word "now!" at the bottom of the card after the movie started playing at the theater. We imagine this originally measured larger and had theater information at the top, and perhaps at the bottom, but of course, there is no way of knowing for sure.

Condition: fair. This homemade card seems to have surely been trimmed, but we can't know for sure (see above). It is made with an original 1931 lobby card that was trimmed and glued to a cardboard backing (again, see above). There is paper loss in the bottom right corner and surface paper loss around the edges, with pinholes and some stains around the edges (see our image). One could have the lobby card portion of this removed and restored back into a full lobby card, or one could perform restoration to this as it is, or one could choose to leave it as it is!
