An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Love on a Bet, the 1936 Leigh Jason New York City Broadway theater romantic gambling adventure screwball comedy (the movie is forgotten today, but it had a really wild plot about a man who wants to produce a Broadway play about a man who has to go from New York City to Los Angeles in his underwear in ten days, and he arrives with a new suit, $100, and a sweetheart, and his uncle thinks it's an idiotic idea for a play, so the nephew bets the uncle he can do it in real life, after which the uncle will give him $15,000 to produce the play) starring Gene Raymond, Wendy Barrie, Helen Broderick, William Collier Sr., and Spencer Charters NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline).
