An Undated (probably 1960s) Re-Release Theatrical Folded Australian Daybill Movie Poster (db; measures 13" x 30" [33 x 76 cm]) (Learn More) The Brave One, the 1956 Irving Rapper Mexico bullfighting matador toreador boy-and-his-pet-bull melodrama ("From the human heart... for the human heart!"; "The Brave One is the Great One!"; "A story of love to make the blood race and the heart melt!"; "Life at its lustiest... as well as its tenderest!"; "The touch of greatness!"; "Once again - comes a new exciting young star in one of the most human love stories ever filmed - ever felt!") starring Michel Ray (billed as "introducing Micheal Ray"), Rodolfo Hoyos Jr., Elsa Cardenas, Carlos Navarro, and Joi Lansing. Note that this film was written by Dalton Trumbo who won the Best Writing Academy Award. Trumbo was blacklisted at the time, so the award was given to "Robert Rich", the pseudonym that Trumbo used. Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned an example of this 1960s re-release daybill! Also note that, while this poster was printed in Australia, it was specifically made to be used in New Zealand. This was not an uncommon practice and we have seen many examples.
