Morse (billed as "Terrell O. Morse") science fiction (sci-fi) thriller ("Adventure into the unknown!"; "In the strangest experiment known to science!"; "They found a New World for Men and a New Secret for Women.. at the center of the Earth!"; "They found a new secret for the World to Whisper ...a thousand miles down down... down!"; "Shocking! ... drama of a woman who lost life's most precious gift!"; "Daring! Adventure of six men and a girl who pierced the heart of the earth!"; "Startling! Scenes of the forbidden depths a thousand miles down!"; "A journey into the center of the earth!"; "Excitement ...to make you thrill! Thrills ...to make you gasp!"; released just months after the classic "When Worlds Collide", it "borrows" virtually the entire plot of that movie, except, instead of going to outer space, the people who hope to survive the Earth's destruction, plan on drilling deep into the Earth to live miles under the surface) starring Victor Kilian, Bruce Kellogg, Otto Waldis, Jim Bannon, Marilyn Nash, and Dick Coogan. Note that Victor Kilian was not credited despite being the star of the film. He was blacklisted shortly after completing the movie during the Communist hysteria of the time. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The entire poster had darkened somewhat. It had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and tiny bits of paper loss in the top quarter of the vertical foldline, with a lesser amount of wear on the other folds. It had many staple holes around the edges and a few within the image. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
