Built by the F. & M. Schaefer Brewing Company it housed a restaurant, beer garden, and could host parties of up to 150 people. Schaefer Beer is a brand of American alcoholic beer from 1842 to the present. It was first produced in New York City in 1842 before the company relocated to Brooklyn in the early 20th century. In the mid-1970s, Schaefer Beer was one of the top selling beers in the U.S., ranking as high as fifth in both the 1950 and 1970 rankings. Artist: Lorime Important Added Info: Note that this promo brochure folds out to form a cool 18 1/4" x 24" poster (see our image). Condition: very good. The side of the brochure that does not have the poster image was attached to an album, and when it was removed, it caused a thin strip of paper loss in the top of a corner of two pages, but it is almost completely red background area that is affected.
