Charley's Aunt, the 1930 Al Christie cross-dressing drag college university romantic comedy farce ("Enough to make a cat laugh - out loud!"; "She Smokes - She drinks - She's a He - He's Charley's Aunt"; "From the celebrated stage play by Brandon Thomas"; the much used plot which has been made as a movie under this title seven different times!; about two students at Oxford University who want their girlfriends to visit them, but they need a chaperone, and they get a friend at school to pretend to be one of their "aunts", even to the point of dressing in old lady clothes) starring Charles 'Charlie' Ruggles (in the title role as Charley's Aunt), June Collyer, Doris Lloyd, Halliwell Hobbes, and Hugh Williams

Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline).

Condition: fine. This glass slide is in really excellent condition, and we feel that EVERY collector would be happy to own it. It IS possible it may have a MINOR defect or defects, but nothing at all significant. But we bet many dealers would call items in this grade "mint" or "near mint"!
