Wives Never Know, the 1936 Elliott Nugent romantic marital adultery comedy ("He couldn't pull the wool over her eyes... but you can't blame him for trying!"; a wacky story of a man who convinces his friend that marriages do better when they overcome adversity, so he advises his friend to have an affair to make his marriage stronger) starring Charles Ruggles (billed as "Charlie Ruggles"), Mary Boland, Adolphe Menjou, Vivienne Osborne, and Claude Gillingwater

Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline).
