An Original Undated (probably late 1940s; from the first Belgian release of this movie) Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Belgian Movie Poster (measures 14 1/4" x 18 1/2") (Learn More) Irving Berlin's Holiday Inn, the 1942 Mark Sandrich romantic love triangle musical comedy ("Lyrics and Music by Irving Berlin"; about two performers who opened a New England inn that is only open on holidays) starring Bing Crosby, Fred Astaire, Marjorie Reynolds, Virginia Dale, Walter Abel, and Louise Beavers. Note that this was the movie that introduced the Irving Berlin classic "White Christmas". It proved VERY popular, and in 1954, Paramount pretty much remade this movie as White Christmas, with Danny Kaye replacing Fred Astaire, and two new female leads, and that became an all-time Christmas classic! The poster's blank top was neatly trimmed off. It had two horizontal folds near the center of the poster, and creases, smudges, and some tiny tears around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Learn More about condition grades
