If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have only auctioned one in all our years of auctioning and that was 28 years ago! It features a contest promotion held by United Artists to find "Miss Exquisite Form" in a type of national beauty pageant. Local theaters selected a contest winner who would be sent to a national competition where the winner (judged by Gary Cooper and Burt Lancaster) would receive a $10,000 contract for "one year of modeling and TV services". We have seen newspaper references for some local competitions held for the promotion, but none for any national competition. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: good to very good. The poster has large, relatively light diagonal creases around the edges and some other creases scattered in various areas (see our image). It has some general fold and border wear and there are some tiny ink dots at lower right (they match the blue of the poster and may have been a result of a misprint). The very rare poster is otherwise generally in pretty nice condition. Learn More about condition grades
