DAWN OF REVENGE 3sh R20s

Lease from Hershenson/Allen Archive

A 1920s Re-Release Vintage Three-Sheet Movie Poster (Learn More)

Dawn of Revenge, the 1922 Bernard Sievel silent kidnapping incest romantic love triangle family relationship melodrama (a crazy story of a man who not only loses his girlfriend to another man, but he becomes crippled in a fight with his rival; this makes him insane, and he kidnaps their infant son years later, and raises him as his own son, and then years later, when he finds out that the couple has since had a daughter, he introduces his "son" to her, so that he will end up marrying his own sister!; but at the climax of the movie, it is revealed that the daughter was actually adopted, so she is no relation to her "brother", and the crippled man dies in an explosion, so everyone ends up happy) starring Richard C. Travers, Muriel Kingston, Charles Graham, Florence Foster, and Louis Dean. Note that this was one of many movies that the "Aywon Film Corporation" bought the rights to in the very early 1920s, and they distributed them to theaters with newly created art, and surely fooled most moviegoers into thinking they were seeing a brand new movie.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
