Chinatown, the classic 1974 Roman Polanski (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) romantic police corruption crime film noir ("Written by Robert Towne"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award) starring Jack Nicholson (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Faye Dunaway (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), John Hillerman, Perry Lopez, Burt Young, John Huston (the famed director in an acting role), Roman Polanski, and Bruce Glover

Condition: good to very good. The poster had been folded an extra time and there are creases and scuffs in parts of the folds that are in the solid black background areas, more so in the lower left. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above, but they are really not at all distracting (and any restorer could easily touch them up without re-backing the poster).
