An INCOMPLETE Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Six-Sheet Movie Poster (6sh; measures 81" x 81" [206 x 206 cm]) (Learn More)

Nothing But Trouble, the 1945 Sam Taylor cooking chef slapstick comedy ("Nothing but fun!"; "'Out this way, or they'll tear you to pieces!' Stan and Ollie are hired, and it's a riot!") starring Stan Laurel, Oliver Hardy (Laurel and Hardy), Mary Boland, Philip Merivale, Henry O'Neill, and David Leland

Artist: Al Hirschfeld
Important Added Info: Note that this six-sheet was originally printed in 5 sections designed to overlap, but two of the sections are missing (see our image). Obviously, this is very sad, but it is true that (by comparing the art that is present to the same art that is on the title card) the vast majority of the image is present (there is just a tiny bit of Hardy's elbow that is missing). It is also easy to know what is missing from the title and the credits, by comparing those to the other posters, so a talented restorer certainly COULD recreate the missing areas at lower left and lower right. But this obviously would be a complicated restoration by a great restorer, so bear that expense in mind before bidding on this poster. Of course, one would much prefer to find a complete example, but it likely doesn't exist, and this DOES have virtually all of the Hirschfeld art, as noted above.

Condition: poor. Two of the sections are missing (see above). The sections that are present have tears and tiny paper loss on the folds and in the borders, and tiny pinholes around the edges. There is a small piece of tape on the back of a small part of one fold.
