Some of his movies include: Chicken Every Sunday, Androcles and the Lion, and The Time Machine (as the time traveler's best friend David Filby, and also as Filby's son James). He is probably best remembered for his starring role as Wilbur Post in TV's "Mr. Ed", and he was the voice of Uncle Scrooge in Disney cartoons. He passed away in 2016 at the age of 96. Important Added Info: This index card has been personally autographed (signed) by Alan Young (he wrote his Mister Ed character name, Wilbur Post, below it, and he also wrote the name of the show)! It was nicely matted with a REPRODUCTION, and the entire display measures 11" x 14". Our consignor is a very longtime collector of movie paper and autographed items who purchased this signed item over the years, and he either obtained it from a dealer through the mail, or by writing to the celebrity, and in each case, he compared the autograph he received with known examples of that star's handwriting, and he (and we) believe that this autograph is authentic.
