When she first started acting in the late 1950s, she was "hailed as Hollywood's successor to Grace Kelly", who had recently retired. She was married for many years to actor Cliff Robertson. Some of her movies include: The Player, The Sundowners, Desk Set, Operation Petticoat, and A Wedding. She passed away in 2017 at the age of 93. Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION still has been personally autographed (signed) by Dina Merrill! Note that our consignor purchased a collection of autographed stills that were collected by Leonard Sorgi, who was a unit manager for ABC for shows like The Soupy Sales Show, The Jerry Mahony Show, and many others. He was also Unit Manager for the Academy Awards for a number of years, and during his long and varied career, he met many celebrities and obtained autographs from them in person (often personalized to him). Our consignor (and we) feel certain that the autograph on this still is authentic! As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
