Artist: Al Hirschfeld Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the bottom two crossfolds. It had small tears and small paper loss in the top half of the vertical foldline, and in the top horizontal fold, with a lesser amount on the other foldlines. It had a stain in the bottom center background area by the woman's foot. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
