Cowboy Canteen, the 1944 Lew Landers all-star singing cowboy western musical compilation ("A western with a difference! Great Fun! Great music!"; "Packed with Western stars! Filled with melody!"; "Meet them at the 'Cowboy Canteen'") starring Charles Starrett, Jane Frazee, Barbara Jo Allen (billed as "Vera Vague"), Tex Ritter, Guinn 'Big Boy' Williams, The Mills Brothers, Jimmy Wakely and His Saddle Pals, Buck, Chickie and Buck, Roy Acuff and His Smoky Mountain Boys and Girls, The Tailor Maids, and Max Terhune (with his dummy Elmer). Just as other studios did "Hollywood Canteen" and "Stage Door Canteen", compilations of a studio's top stars performing to entertain the troops in World War II, Columbia made this western version, with many of their top western stars, and they included The Mills Brothers (just because they were so good!).

Condition: good to very good. There are some pinholes around the edges. Some of them are torn or enlarged due to rough removal. There is wear, small areas of paper loss and some separation in mainly in the lower vertical foldline.
