An Original Vintage Theatrical Metal Locking Display (measures 2" x 15 3/4" x 37") (Learn More)

Palace Theatre, the 1950s glass and metal lockable theater display ("Muscatine's Finest"; "Now Playing"; "Next attraction") from the Palace Theatre in Muscatine, Iowa. This display contains promotional material for upcoming movies and has an advertisement for a local business
Important Added Info:

UPDATED 04/15/2011: Note that a knowledgeable collector pointed out that this display was originally designed to hold window cards!

Condition: very good. The display is locked, and the key is long gone, but no doubt any locksmith could open it and create a new key. There are some stains and tarnish on the metal frame, but the display is generally in pretty nice condition. Note that two small snipes that are within the frame have shifted from where they originally were, but they could easily be put back in place one the display is opened (and obviously, the new owner of this display could certainly put a new header at the top (where the real estate information is) so that it becomes a display for that person's own home theater!
