Victor Herbert's Naughty Marietta, the 1935 Frances Goodrich musical romantic operetta ("Victor Herbert's Immortal Stage Hit"; "Victor Herbert's Thrilling Stage Success"; "1935's Greatest Musical Love Story!"; "The greatest of all musical romances"; "Book and Lyrics by Rida Johnson Young"; "Music by Victor Herbert"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award) starring Jeanette MacDonald (in the title role as Marietta), Nelson Eddy, Frank Morgan, Elsa Lanchester, Douglass Dumbrille, Joseph Cawthorne, and Cecilia Parker

Important Added Info: This Swedish poster measures 27 1/4" x 39 1/2" and is linenbacked.

Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and one of the following is true: either the poster had very minor defects, and was well backed, OR it had more significant defects, but they were extremely well restored, OR it had some minor defects that were not completely restored, and are somewhat noticeable. You can tell which of the above is the case for this particular poster by reading our "pre-restoration" description and also by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!).

The poster had creases along some foldlines, but was otherwise in nice condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, and looks great!
