An Unfolded Special Poster (measures 17" x 25" [43 x 64 cm]) (Learn More) U.S. Army: Army Day, April 6, the 1949 poster ("Part of the team for security") promoting national Army Day which was first celebrated on May 1st, 1928, but was later changed to April 6th to commemorate the anniversary date of the United States' entry into World War I (WWI). Note that this poster features art of an Army soldier as well as other military servicemen and civilians. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning! Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has some tiny brown dot stains in portions of the blank borders (see our image) and there are some light scuffs mainly in the center of the poster (in the art of the U.S.).
