An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Banjo On My Knee, the 1936 John Cromwell romantic riverboat musical rich-man-poor-girl marriage comedy ("He's not a drinking man, but what a thirst he has for adventure!"; "Based on a novel by Harry Hamilton"; Joel McCrea is rich Walter Brennan's son, and Brennan wants a grandson really bad, but McCrea marries way beneath him with "land girl" Stanwyck, but worse yet, they can't seem to consummate their marriage) starring Barbara Stanwyck, Joel McCrea, Helen Westley, Buddy Ebsen (in his fourth movie role!), Walter Brennan, Walter Catlett, Tony Martin (billed as "Anthony Martin"), Katherine DeMille, and Victor Kilian. Note that this is a full musical, and Stanwyck sings and dance for perhaps the only time in her career! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good. Learn More about condition grades
