An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Campaign Book (measures 9 1/4" x 12" [23 x 30 cm]; 20 pages) (Learn More) United Artists 1935-36, the 1935 campaign book sent to theater owners to encourage them to show United Artists movies. It "only" contains 24 pages, but those pages are REALLY nice (both in terms of what they advertise and the quality of the images)! There are 2-page full-color ads for Modern Times, Strike Me Pink, These Three, One Rainy Afternoon, The Ghost Goes West, Things To Come, Little Lord Fauntleroy, The Last of the Mohicans, and The Amateur Gentleman. The last 2-page spread is for Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse and Silly Symphonies, and is a wonderful 2-page full-color image of The Big Bad Wolf, The Three Little Pigs, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Pluto, and they are all cutting a giant cake! Important Added Info: Note that this is one of the most desirable United Artists campaign books (because of the great movies and the great Disney ad), but it is also incredibly rare. We have never auctioned it before! Condition: very good to fine. There is a tiny "bump" in the bottom of the front cover. Otherwise, the book is in really nice condition!
