The Mighty Epic Spectacle of the Old-Time West"; "Coming!"; "Commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the Battle at Little Big Horn"; "The greatest Indian frontier spectacle ever shown"; "Dedicated to the Spirit of the American Pioneer"; "Famous Indian Uprising in 1876 Under the Bloodthirsty Sitting BullL"; "Taken in the Black Hills. In 1925 (just ahead of the 50th Anniversary of the Massacre at the Little Big Horn, known as "Custer's Last Stand"), the original movie was re-cut and some new footage was shot and the movie was re-presented with all new posters and lobby cards. I have never seen or heard of ANY 1912 movie paper item of any sort from this movie, so items from the 1925 re-edited version are the only option if one wants to get something from this movie! Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this one-sheet, and that was 6 years ago, when it sold for $541! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was tri-folded only. It had a line of vertical separation down the right 3" of the poster. Otherwise, it had very minor fold and border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
