Kumonosu Jo (released in English-speaking countries as "Throne of Blood"), the 1957 Akira Kurosawa Japanese samurai warrior action tragic melodrama (with a screenplay by Kurosawa and three others, based on the play 'MacBeth' by William Shakespeare) starring Toshiro Mifune, Isuzu Yamada, Minoru Chiaki, Takashi Shimura, and Akira Kubo

Important Added Info: Note that this is a rare "country of origin" poster for this Japanese movie! This Japanese poster measures 20" x 28 1/2" and is linenbacked.

Condition: fine. This poster was linenbacked and during the backing process, its extremely minor defects were repaired and it now looks really great! We only assigned this grade ("fine") to posters that were in really excellent condition prior to linenbacking, AND which were linenbacked by a top professional.

The poster was in quite nice condition prior to linenbacking, and it was well backed, and looks great! Note that the poster was backed on to a very thin linen, and that the restorer did not leave any excess linen around the edges.
