Gazzo (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film; as Frankie Pentageli), G.D. Spradlin (as Senator Geary), Richard Bright (as Al Neri), Gastone Moschin (as Don Fanucci), Bruno Kirby (as young Clemenza), Troy Donahue (as Merle Johnson), James Caan (as Sonny Corleone, in a brief flashback), Abe Vigoda (as Tessio), Oreste Baldini (as Vito Andolini, who grows up to be Vito Corleone), Giuseppe Sillato (as Don Ciccio), Mario Cotone (as Don Tommasino), and Roman Coppola (as Sonny Corleone as a young boy). Note that this one of only two movies that have ever had 3 different actors nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Oscar! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that each still has a paper snipe on the back giving information about the scene on the front. Also note that a few of these stills are printed on Kodak paper, but we believe them to surely be original stills (especially given the fact that they have studio-issued snipes). Sometimes, studios would run out of stills and have extras printed on different stock. SUPER IMPORTANT! THOUGH ONLY EIGHT OF THE STILLS ARE PICTURED, THE HIGH BIDDER ON THIS LOT WILL RECEIVE 30 STILLS FROM THIS MOVIE (but realize that on some of these lots with 9 or more stills there may be a few duplicates, mostly on post-1960 lots)! We realize there is an element of gambling to this, but we made only a small effort to find the best stills in these lots, and, if you have any willingness to gamble at all, you may find that you get some great stills that were not pictured! Please do NOT bid on this lot unless you can accept that you are only seeing eight of the stills. Condition: very good. Each still has some degree of faint uneven discoloration caused by snipe glue on the back, mostly in the credits area and lower edge of the image. In some stills that discoloration is not very noticeable or distracting, and in some stills it is more visible (for example, in the still pictured at lower right in our image), but overall the images are in pretty nice condition.
