An Original Vintage Japanese Campaign Book (measures 8 1/4" x 11 3/4" [21 x 30 cm]; 24 pages) (Learn More)

Shochiku Selected Films 1957, the 1957 Japanese "export" campaign book for "Selected Films" released by this Japanese studio in 1957. It is entirely in English, because this campaign book was sent to U.S. movie distributors to try to get them to book movies from this company. There are four full-color pages in the center of the book that advertise Typhoon Over Nagasaki (two pages), and one page each for The Lady Was a Pawn and The Wanderer. The rest of the book has one page each for a number of other upcoming releases from this studio.

Important Added Info: Note that this Japanese export campaign book is extremely rare (we have never auctioned it before)!

Condition: very good. The campaign book has some minor wear around the edges.
