eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result 5z069 MOLLYCODDLE TC '20 Douglas Fairbanks smoking very long peace pipe with Native Americans! Date Sold 9/21/2010Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm]) (Learn More) The Mollycoddle, the 1920 Victor Fleming silent Hopi Native American Indian romantic adventure comedy ("Story by Harold MacGrath"; about an American raised in Monte Carlo, who is a polo player, who always wears evening clothes, and he goes to visit his birthplace in Arizona on Indian land, and he has many adventures) starring Douglas Fairbanks Sr., Wallace Beery, Morris Hughes, George Stewart, and Ruth Renick. Note that this was one of the first United Artists movies, but none of the movie paper for it we have seen has any studio information, and we have seen two entirely different types of lobby cards, so one might be an early re-release, but it seems impossible to tell which is which! If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this lobby card has been trimmed and it now measures 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm]. Condition: fair. The card was heavily trimmed on all four sides to make it 8" x 10", but fortunately none of the title, credits, or most of the image was affected. There are also many scuffs scattered in the card with a pinhole in each corner. Please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept its defects described above or are willing to pay to have them properly restored! Learn More about condition grades
