An Undated (probably 2010s) Re-Release Theatrical Folded Egyptian Movie Poster (measures 28" x 42" [71 x 107 cm]) (Learn More) Attack of the Fifty Foot Woman, the 1958 Nathan Juran (billed as "Nathan Hertz") science fiction (sci-fi) giant female monster horror thriller starring Allison Hayes (in the title role as the 50 foot woman), William Hudson, Yvette Vickers, Roy Gordon, George Douglas, and Otto Waldis. Note that the posters for this movie have wonderful Reynold Brown artwork of a giant scantily clad woman standing over a highway, and it is rightly regarded as one of the finest poster images of the 1950s. One wishes one could say the same about the movie itself, but alas, that is not true! But the poster for this movie is surely one of the most memorable ever created! Important Added Info: Note that we think it is extremely likely that this poster was created within the last 10 years (possibly in the last couple of years) for an Egyptian movie theater showing classic movies (perhaps this was created for a single showing, but we really don't know). We have been told that there were Egyptian film festivals in the 1990s that used posters like these, and that might well be true, but we believe this poster (and the other recent Egyptian re-releases we are currently auctioning) are much more recent than that (so maybe there continue to be film festivals to the present day). It was consigned to us from Egypt, but we know nothing more about its history except for what is written above, so please do not bid unless you can accept these uncertainties. Note also that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: very good to fine. The poster has the most minor border wear and some light creases along portions of the folds. Overall it is in pretty nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
