Originally, it was called the Britannia Circus after the name of the ship whose sails were used to make the marquee. After changes of ownership, it was established in France in 1904 and toured from February to October before arriving in Paris for an end-of-year celebration. Artist: G. Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had was overprinted with the name of a specific man who performed ("Alfred Court") in the top of the image. At some later point, the poster was reused where they no longer applied, and someone painted black over that area. Otherwise, the poster had pretty minor fold and border wear.
