Kiss Me Kate, the 1953 George Sidney 3-D (3D; 3-Dimension) romantic musical comedy ("Famed stage hit now big color musical!"; "15 Beloved Cole Porter Song Hits!"; "From the Samuel and Bella Spewack Broadway Musical Comedy Sensation!"; "First Big 3-D Color Musical"; "Based Upon the Play Produced on the Stage by Lemuel Ayers and Arnold Saint Subber"; "Music and Lyrics by Cole Porter"; "Screen Play by Dorothy Kingsley"; "Play by Samuel & Bella Spewack"; based on the play 'The Taming of the Shrew' by William Shakespeare) starring Kathryn Grayson (in the title role as Kate), Howard Keel, Ann Miller, Keenan Wynn, Bobby Van, James Whitmore, and Kurt Kasznar

Important Added Info: Note that this movie was originally in 3-D. The studios created both 3D posters and 2D posters (the 2-D posters were for theaters that lacked the 3-D equipment). This poster is from the "2-D" release.

Condition: good to very good. The poster had a 5" vertical tear 1/2" to the right of the of the vertical foldline, in the center of the poster, and the bottom of the green dress and in the white background below it. There was separation, surface paper loss, and some tiny creases and scuffs on parts of most foldlines. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above (and any restorer could easily touch them up without re-backing the poster).
