eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result 5d159 BRANDED 8x10 still '31 cowboy Buck Jones talks to pretty Ethel Kenyon by his horse! Date Sold 2/15/2015Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Branded, the 1931 D. Ross Lederman cowboy western starring Buck Jones ("The screen's greatest outdoor star"), Ethel Kenyon, Wallace MacDonald, Philo McCullough, and Silver (Jones' horse). Note that Buck Jones' white horse was named Silver (just like The Lone Ranger's later on!), and Silver made 73 movies with Buck Jones from 1922 until Jones' death in 1942 in the tragic Cocoanut Grove fire. But oddly, Silver was almost never billed on the posters for Buck Jones' movies as so many other famous horses (most especially Tom Mix's Tony) were. This was one of the few movies where Silver was billed on the posters! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: very good. There is paper loss in the top left blank corner and the still has some minor wear around the edges. Learn More about condition grades
