The Lavender Hill Mob, the classic 1951 Charles Crichton English Ealing crime comedy ("Your biggest laugh in years!"; "Meet the Boss!") starring Alec Guinness (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film; "versatile star of 'Kind Hearts and Coronets'"), Stanley Holloway, Sidney James, Alfie Bass, Marjorie Fielding, and Audrey Hepburn (referred to as a "lovely newcomer" in some of the original advertising, in her first real role as Chiquita, after two extremely minor roles)

Important Added Info: Note that first release English movie paper of any kind from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a single British quad (25 years ago for $2,760), a four English lobby cards, and some stills (and NO other first release English movie paper) from this movie until we received this English double crown, which is a "country of origin" poster for this English movie, and which we have never auctioned before!

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had some tiny scuffs and tiny creases on small parts of the folds and very minor border wear. It had a diagonal crease in the top right corner. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
