An Original Vintage Theatrical Deluxe 10 1/2" x 13 1/2" [27 x 34 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Homage to Carl Laemmle, the 1932 event celebrating Carl Laemmle's 26th anniversary as a Universal studio motion picture executive. The gathering took place at the Los Angeles Breakfast Club and featured stars and filmmakers such as: Raymond Massey, Boris Karloff, Genevieve Tobin, John Boles, Tala Birell, James Whale, James Flavin, Bela Lugosi, Paul Perez, Lester Cohen, Leo Carrillo, Mrs. Edward Laemmle, Louis Friedlander, Sigmund Moos, Luis Trenker, George Sidney, Carl Laemmle, June Clyde, Charlie Murray, Lucile Browne, Tom Mix, Lew Ayres, Noah Beery Jr., Lola Lane, Allen Rivkin, W.K. Cochrane, Paul Kohner (the famous agent when he was still an employee of Universal!), Karl Freund, C. Roy Hunter, Mickey Rooney (when he was known as Mickey McGuire), and Ernst L. Frank. Note that we don't know if any advertising was created for this event, but we have had a really cool still, which pictures all of the above people who gathered to pay tribute to Mr. Laemmle, including of course Boris Karloff (at top left), Bela Lugosi (at top right), and James Whale (at top center), among many other top stars! Of course, this was not long after Frankenstein and Dracula were made! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been slightly neatly trimmed and it now measures 10 1/2" x 13 1/2" [27 x 34 cm]. Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. Condition: good to very good. The still was neatly trimmed (apparently it had blank white borders, because you can see what appears to be a trace of them in the right of the top border). There were a few tiny tears in the borders that have clear tape on the reverse. Otherwise, the still is in nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
